Terms of Service

FillerClip ("we", "us") is a tool that automatically removes filler words, silences, false starts and retakes from talking-head video and audio. By using fillerclip.com you agree to these terms.

1. The service

You upload media, we transcribe it, suggest cuts for your review, and render the final cut you approve. Automatic suggestions are assistive and may be imperfect — you are responsible for reviewing the result before publishing it.

2. Your content

You keep all rights to the media you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, transcribe and process it solely to provide the service (including sending audio to our speech-recognition providers). You must own or have the necessary rights to any media you upload, and must not upload content that is unlawful or infringes others' rights. Uploads are deleted automatically on a short schedule — see the Privacy Policy.

3. Accounts

Sign-in is via Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (automation attacks, attempts to circumvent billing, illegal content).

4. Credits and payment

Processing a file (transcription) consumes minute-based credits — 1 credit minute per minute of source media, rounded up. Reviewing, exporting and re-exporting a processed file are free. Credits are one-time purchases, do not expire, and are not transferable. Current prices are on the Pricing page.

Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record, which processes checkout, payment, receipts and applicable sales tax/VAT; its own terms apply to the payment transaction. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

5. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that transcription or cut detection will be accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of content you have not kept a copy of (keep your originals — uploads are deleted automatically). This section limits our liability; it does not create any right to a refund or compensation (refunds are governed by the Refund Policy).

7. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. You may stop using the service at any time and can request account deletion by email. We may terminate accounts for breach of these terms.
